Training quality improvement measures at the faculty of medical laboratory based on educational quality accreditation

Abstract
This study aims to identify the role of educational quality accreditation (EQA) in enhancing the quality of training at the Faculty of Medical Laboratory, Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Based on a synthesis of theoretical foundations and practical analysis of self-assessment results and official accreditation reports, the study clarified the impact of EQA on key components of educational quality, including learning outcomes, curriculum content, teaching methods, and infrastructure. The results showed that the Faculty achieved 96% of the criteria according to the assessment of the Center for Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, with many aspects improved such as training management and faculty capacity, and student satisfaction rate of over 90%. The study proposed three solutions, including developing a quality culture and continuous improvement, increasing investment in facilities and resources to support teaching and learning and establishing an effective feedback system from stakeholders. These results contribute to building a model for training quality improvement in the health sciences field and strengthening the internal quality assurance system of the university.
